Living in Florida, you don’t get to experience the Fall so
when my husband and I decided to go to Germany for our one year wedding
anniversary we were so excited to see the bright beautiful leaves.
We flew into Frankfurt and immediately made our way to the Rhine River Valley. It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop us from exploring. The river was absolutely beautiful. The leaves were bright yellow and orange. There were vine yards you could go visit and restaurants. But my favorite part was that there were a million castles to visit! We stopped at a castle overlooking the Rhine River, walked all the way up only to find that it was closed, BOOOO! We later found out that we went during low season and some of the places were only open on the weekend, so we couldn’t go inside.
